Online Learning via Zoom

Sometimes it's tough to get to Sandwich for your lesson, especially if you live in Florida. Jump online, fire up your ZOOM app and boom! You're face to face (sort of) with your favorite Score Music instructor. This is a terrific option for parents that work late and want the kids to get a lesson in. You can record the whole session as well for later viewing. Pretty cool.

Steve Gregory / Owner

Score Music Studios was founded in 1998 by Kari Lee Fietek, an extreamly skilled musician and business woman. She soon had the school packed with students and teachers. Steve Gregory joined the instructor team in 2006 and started to build a devoted roster of students. Kari turned the business over to Steve in 2013 - now called Score Music.

Steve has a Bachelors in Music / classical guitar from Rhode Island College and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston to study jazz composition. He was in management and purchasing for several years with Tower Records and HMV Records - amassing an enormous recording collection. He has taught at the Cape Cod Conservatory, CCFTA, Sandwich Arts Alliance and Falmouth Academy. He is the founder of the Cotuit Center for the Arts Ukulele Orchestra series of classes and is the Saturday Service Music Director at West Parish Church in West Barnstable. Steve currently plays guitar and sings with the Cape Cod duet, Side Hustle and performs as a sideman and fill-in musician for Kim Moberg, Out Late, Funktapuss, Jim Nosler's Twister and others.

Eddie Nickerson

Guitar, Guitar Repair

Eddie Nickerson has played the gutiar since he was just a kid. Growing up with many musical and music loving brothers in the Hull, MA area Eddie was also learning songs and jamming with one of his siblings. Ed has been a teacher his whole life. He has extensive experience and professional credentials in the marine and construction industries. He's also a nut for gear and equipment. His knowledge of gutiar history and manufacturing is second to none. But honestly we keep him around because he's the most upbeat guy you'll ever meet. He's Score's number one chearleader and brings a smile to all his students.
